REGION 2

WELCOME TO REGION 2!

Girl Scout Regions were developed by GSSJC to engage and retain older girls by offering programming events specifically for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors, as well as their adult volunteers. There are 16 Regions throughout our Council, each providing programming for not only local girls but for those from across the Houston area. We at Region 2 hope to offer exciting events and programs that will bring our area girls together plus allow them to work with and form friendships with girls from other Regions. By specializing in events such as Journey Weekends and Badge Workshops, we can bring in those older girls who may no longer be active in troops or have extremely busy schedules.

Region 2 covers greater Montgomery County plus parts of Harris County and includes four Communities: Woodland Trails, Lone Star Trails, Spring Creek Trails, and Magnolia Blossom Hills, and serves approximately 1500 older girls and adults.
